A while back, Fenners1984 had reset the Chuch Micro at Springfield, after the old one was archived. I had been keeping it as a local standby cache. As I’m nearing the target of my 366 daily finds, I have been gradually ticking them off. Today I needed to run errands in Chelmsford, so this one seemed like the perfect target.
The church itself is currently undergoing renovations, so isn’t very photogenic, but at least the cache was a quick find.
After a DNF at a hide which has recently been reinstated (don’t ask!) I found a cache today with a great field puzzle attached. There were some numbers to be crunched to get the combination for the lock, but thankfully it wasn’t long before I was in!
Just time for a quick cache and dash today, as I was busy scoping out and setting a little circuit of caches for Leap Day. I headed to a newly-published Church “Micro” nearby, only to realise I had visited the same spot a couple of years ago when another cache was resident. It took me ages last time, but today I was able to go straight to the pot!
A very short caching trip out today. I had DNF’d this one a little while ago – or more accurately, I had found the cache but could not figure out the combination to get the birdbox open to sign the log. I had another think today and came up with a different idea, so headed off to see if I was right… And Yippee! Yes.
