Today’s cache was the Essex/Suffolk BorderCache & Piffle 30 Christmas Dinner event and I was grateful to have the geo-wagon back this morning as the location was at a pub in Wickham Bishops, which is a bit out of the way.
The food was great, the company was convivial and of course, I went dressed the part…
I planned a grand walking route of just over 14 miles today around Cone Engaine and Earl’s Colne.

I had spent several weeks looking at the various puzzles in the area by gillywig. I had gradually chipped away at the answers, as I knew I would be visiting close by in the evening for the Essex/Suffolk Border Piffle #28 meetup in Mount Bures.
Gilly and Grahame always have some surprises up their sleeves when it comes to puzzles, and I wasn’t disappointed today. I particularly enjoyed solving and finding Sequences & Series 2 : Black Adder – a comedy show which I have loved for years. I also picked up some traditional hides along the way, including reviving This Pudding Is For Christmas, Not For Life!!! which had not been found for over 17 months!
